the coldfires patrols are very very easy except for the final group of smites at the end, but yeah simple and lots of big big gaps, just spend one run looking at they're movement, it doesn't change

sorry my bad on attributes, im actually using:
7 illusion
13 strenght
15 axe
9 tac
if I could swap my req 9 tactics -2-2 for a req 9 str -2-2, I would dump out all pts in tactics, since I have no purpose for it other than the shield req (no healing ftw)

What if you swapped Cleave for Triple chop, and Pen chop for Cyclone axe?
And use a zealous axe.

I'm using Bewn's sword build for my first run
Do you guys think that by replacing Flail with Physical Resistance (So Phys and Dolyak) would work better? No IAS means slower damage though.

just one tip for you bewn =]
ele is great dmg vs the graspings (more than normal) and sundering does wonders vs the smites =]
anf if you wanna go no healing, switch lions comfort for sun and moon slash, its a realy good combo with a energy attack (your counterdattacK), you will gain 2 adrealine through it =] , helps spam quivering blade =]

You reckon with Dolyak alone, you don't need healing?

you'll get allmost no damage with this build so healing isn't nessesary, I have lions comfort with me, (using the physical resistance version) just to feel comfortable

- +40 armor doylak/phys resistance
- -2/-2 (stance/enchanted) sheild
- 5 Armor on sword or axe
- knights armor (you can have a weapon helm)
- superior absorption
- stance = flail or phys resistance
- enchantment = the never ending visages
= 0 damage at all times
and if you got say that extra -2 missing or that + 5 armor missing or even the correct armor you can easily take watch yourself in with a phys resistance build (so you don't have to share strength and tactics).
if you go by these rules you will either take no dmg, or 0-2dmg
which still means healing is realy not required

...well
piercing = ranged
blunt = hammer (they seem to attack faster than average hammer speed)
slashing = ..... them "i think"
not a hundred percent sure, will look into it

Do you throw with daggers? A lot of daggers are piercing and some axes aswell. Maybe you can hear it what type of damage it is? Probably piercing or slashing I think. Then you can use shields with -2 recieved physical damage and +10amor vs piercing/slashing/blunt. Would be good.
And about helmet, you can use a nightfall helmet, you can use insignias on those, so you can make a knights helmet of the weapon type you want.
Allso, if you accidentally aggro some aaxtes into the "safe zone" and can't get rid of them, run (skill) out and head to the closed gate you normally run through to the smites, and they will break aggro most times.
